Group Financial Controller

Our client, a high growth global marketing services business, based near Epsom Surrey, is seeking to appoint a high-calibre Group Financial Controller to report into the CFO and take full responsibility for all group finance activities. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision of quality technical and analytical support to the Group CFO
• Supervise and manage all statutory and management reporting
• Development and implementation of new controls for all financial reporting across the group
• Support the Group CFO on M&A and due diligence activities
• Support and manage tax team to develop strategies, policies and plans to ensure that the business is fully tax compliant and has the optimum tax position
• Work closely and develop good relationships with the business line Directors
• Play a key role in the global implementation of an ERP system working closely with the other senior finance staff and the IT function
• Help create an environment of continuous improvement to ensure the business has a robust infrastructure and a finance function that is best in class
• Lead and develop the a small team of accountants
• Support the Director of FP&A and Group FP&A on all financial and planning matters

Candidate Profile:

• Graduate, qualified accountant (ACA) with a progressive record of success
• Hands-on experience in a line role combined with experience of the workings of a group finance function will be the preference
• International business and multinational consolidation experience
• Experience of mechanisms for funding organic growth beneficial
• Strong intellect as well as ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to fit within a fast moving, demanding, complex and constantly evolving business

Package: up to £130k base, 20-30% bonus plus package incl. benefits
