A leading financial services company requires a Financial Controller to join their finance team. Reporting directly in to Head Of Accounts, you'll be responsible for 3 direct reports. This is a highly demanding position with high reward. You'll be joining a company admired by it's peers and leading within the field it operates in.
Role Responsibilities -
- Cash reporting and overseeing the daily reconcilations
- Trial balance maintenance
- Overhead variance analysis
- Support of monthly management accounts and quarterly board packs
- Oversee VAT reporting on a monthly basis
- Annual budget requirements for overheads and review of subsidiary overhead budgets
- Preparation of monthly accruals and collation of global accruals
- Prepayment oversight and maintenance
- Management of 3 junior staff
- Any other ad hoc tasks
Candidate Requirements -
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Practice experience desired
- Previous experience within the financial services industry would be beneficial
- Prior experience in management
- Strong IT/System skills
- Excellent communication skills
