My global Technology/Software client based in Milton Keynes are looking for a UK Finance Director to lead and develop a growing forward thinking business.
This business has doubled in size over the last three years and has strategic growth plans moving forward. Ideally you will have had experience working within the Technology sector or Software industry. Package 70-80k plus 20% Bonus and £7,500 car allowance.
Are you a progressive current Financial controller looking for your first FD role? Or are you a current FD leading a progressive business unit managing a small team and several functions.

Main Duties as Finance Director:

• Responsible for the production of all financial information to the senior and operational management of the company and the Group.
• Responsible for the continuing development of sound financial controls and procedures within the organisation.
• Implementing and adhering to group financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare, monitor and maintain annual department and company budgets.
• Assess and reduce the company's exposure to financial risk.
• To manage and support the financial and administration teams
• To play a major role in the development of the company's IT, and Seamless transaction strategy.
• To maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Fulfil the duties and responsibilities required and detailed in the Company's Quality Manual and Health & Safety Manual.
• handle international taxation issues as well as the commercial and contract legislation

Functional competencies as a Finance Director:

• Demonstrate technical accounting and financial analysis skills
• Have an understanding of commercial legislation and taxation issues, in the UK,USA and Internationally
• Have experience of acquisitions; valuation, due diligence, transactional risks, and integration
• Have a good understanding of finance systems.
• Excellent IT skills including Excel and ERP

Education/Qualifications as a Finance Director:

• Be a Qualified Accountant with significant technical experience - ACA, ACCA or CIMA

Experience needed for the role of Finance Director:

• Have worked in a senior financial role within a similar company environment
• Line Management experience
