As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, we are now seeking to appoint a new Chief Financial Officer, who will drive our financial strategy, and contribute to university-wide leadership as a member of the Executive Board. During a period of significant change in the Higher Education sector, this is an excellent opportunity to make a profound contribution to the future success of the University.

Reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor, the successful candidate will be an experienced finance professional with a strong track record of leadership gained at Board (or equivalent) level. The new Chief Financial Officer will have highly-developed commercial acumen, the ability to manage finances strategically and leverage resources, and to build credibility and establish strong and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders across the University and beyond. Empathy with the higher education sector and the mission and values of the University of Bradford will be critical.
