Overview

Our Client is an exciting specialist litigation practice based central London. The partnership comprises world-renowned practitioners, both barristers and solicitors, from various dispute-resolution backgrounds. The key practice areas are commercial litigation, international arbitration, tax disputes and forensic investigation with a focus on the highest quality, most complex cases.

Key responsibilities

• This role will require you to co-ordinate a team of associates and paralegals working closely with the partners to prepare High Court cases for trial. The cases include applications for Judicial Review and references to the European Courts.

• Duties will include day to day management of a litigation case load, undertaking legal research and drafting notes and opinions, interviewing witnesses and preparing evidence, preparing applications.

Qualifications & experience

• Good up to date knowledge of High Court practice.

• A strong academic record, preferably a first class undergraduate degree from a top-tier university. A law degree is preferable.

• A-Level in Mathematics is a preference (or equivalent).

• Trained and qualified as a solicitor or barrister in the United Kingdom or a Commonwealth country.

• 2-6 years Call or Post Qualification Experience.

• Some knowledge of European law would be of benefit.

• Excellent attention to detail.
