Your new role
The Legal department are responsible for corporate governance, protection of intellectual property and the development of commercial contracts. They also ensure compliance with any legal requirements and pre-empt and defend any legal challenges to the company worldwide. As the business continues to grow from strength to strength, our client is looking for commercial lawyers to join our small but dynamic legal team.

Seeking Experienced Commercial Solicitors for a several current vacancies to support a range of different legal issues, ranging from research agreements (including working with academic and industrial partners on collaborations) and international projects, to intellectual property licensing (including advising on IP elements of sponsorship and ambassador agreements when required) and indirect procurement. You'll be working closely with the internal business teams and the successful candidates will be key and influential advisers, providing both commercial and legal advice and guidance on a range of business matters. Depending on the role, you'll be based in the Warwickshire area. You'll be expected to demonstrate an ability to manage your own workload independently but work effectively and efficiently with other members of the Legal team. Strong communication skills are therefore essential. Occasional travel between the two sites is to be expected.

What you'll need to succeed
An experienced and qualified UK Lawyer, you'll demonstrate experience of commercial drafting (research agreements, supplier contracts, intellectual property licensing or indirect procurement). With a high level of commercial acumen and a sound legal mind, you'll have the confidence to challenge where necessary to ensure the best legal and contractual outcomes for the business. You'll display the skills to analyse and assimilate legal advice, consider the impact to the business and provide creative and pragmatic solutions and advice focusing on key risks. Working in a fast-paced, demanding environment, you'll have the ability to deliver a high quality, consistent level of legal advice to a diversity of stakeholders within the business.
