Financial Controller

We are working on behalf of a forward thinking business with a great reputation within it's market that is now looking to secure an experienced Financial Controller to join the senior management team to further drive the business forward.

You will provide a strong and positive contribution to all areas of the business through the delivery of robust financial budgetary controls, management of the finance team, accurate reporting and identification of areas to improve the efficiency of the companies processes and profitability.


Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller job will include:
-Pro-actively provide financial input to help drive the business forward.
-You will provide continuous development to your team to ensure effective delivery of Management Accounts, Statutory Reports and efficient ledgers.
-Continuously review and develop effective company accounting in line with developments and internal controls to respond to changing customer needs and contractual reporting requirements
-Work closely with all departments ensuring system processes are followed in a profit efficient manner.
-To provide support to the team and department directors to ensure accuracy of the forecasting process.
-Take overall responsibility of the integrity of the financial information and the accurate recording within the divisions balance sheet.


The ideal Financial Controller will possess the following attributes/skills:
-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in a similar role
-Analytically minded
-Ability to influence at all levels and build business partner relationships
-A motivation and ambition to drive innovative thinking
-Flexible and adaptable in their approach
-Good understanding of IT systems, Oracle desirable
