Group Financial Controller

Key responsibilities will include leading the preparation of the Group's statutory consolidation, owning the glossy accounts production process, managing and developing improvements in financial systems, managing end to end audit delivery and attending subsequent audit committee meetings, maintaining key relationships with external advisors and lending banks, overseeing tax compliance processes, resolving technical accounting issues, mitigating the impact of accounting developments and the introduction of new standards, actively contributing to M&A activity and strategic projects from due diligence through to integration.

The successful candidate will be an ambitious qualified finance professional (ideally an ACA) with demonstrable controllership experience built up from within commercial environments. Applicants must be technically proficient whilst being able to communicate with audiences that have varying levels of such technical knowledge. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders are vitally important interpersonal traits. Excellent IT prowess would certainly be advantageous.
