Title Project Manager - New Build, Refurbishment & Design & Build

My client seeks a dynamic individual, someone self-motivated and confident for the role of Project Manager. Key responsibilities will include the successful delivery of projects in Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
The business is well established with a great reputation for delivering first class finished work of exceptional quality.
You will have experience in delivering projects up to GBP12m with broad sector experience. Education and residential experience would be ideal.
The role reports to the Senior Contracts Manager, you will be a good leader capable of motivating multiple site construction teams to deliver the scope of work within the project, safely, within budget and in line with quality and environmental management systems.
A key attribute apart from a successful track record of Project Management in main contracting will be sound commercial awareness, JCT contract knowledge, design coordination and technical skills.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills to ensure that objectives are achieved
- Commercial control with contract administration knowledge
- Ability to keep comprehensive records
- Excellent construction knowledge
- Management of Health and Safety
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Ability to coordinate the design process
- Ability to set up subcontract orders and ensure they are correctly administered
- Experience of managing projects up to GBP12m
- Ideally qualified, MCIOB or equivalent
The person will have a stable career track record and a proven background within a well regarded similar main contracting organisation. You should be located in South London or its suburbs or the home counties, a wide range of south eastern locations can be accommodated.
