Finance Business Partner

A leading UK brand is currently recruiting for a technically strong Finance Business Partner to join its growing team based in central Manchester. Having seen a strategic change in the last few years, the business is looking to strengthen its position its position in the market with significant investment earmarked over the next few years.  

With a real focus on wider operational performance, the business is looking to continue to expand its operations nationwide and to this end, requires a strong analyst with the ability to communicate the prevailing trends and patterns to wider operational stakeholders in a business partnering capacity.

The Finance Business Partner will take a leading role alongside senior management, in helping to drive the performance of the business. With occasional travel to sites across the UK, key roles and responsibilities for the Finance Business Partner include;

• Identify new techniques to advance both insight provided through analysis and the scenario/forecast/budget models, including assumptions
• Business Partnering with external benchmarking, working with internal and external relevant stakeholders, and developing own knowledge of advancements in modelling techniques
• Financial modelling and interpretation of the data to provide recommendations
• Provide insightful recommendations to senior management to support effective decision making
• Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to assist in achieving objectives for own area
• Challenge and influencing wider stakeholders to make well informed decisions to optimise business performance

The successful candidate will have a CIMA or ACA qualification, with a strong retail and/or FMCG background. You will have excellent communication skills and the strong excel and modelling skills.

You must have demonstrable experience in working as part of a commercial or finance team and the ability to navigate through a complex and changing business.
