Seeking an amazing, dedicated, knowledgeable medical management professional to step into the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer.
You will be joining an established ophthalmology practice in Northern Michigan (in one of the absolute best places to live in the Midwest!) where you will be busy, challenged and professionally fulfilled.
You will be responsible for financial statement preparation, cost accounting, physician income distribution calculations, budgeting, contracting, oversight of all billing staff, and providing the financial compliance component for our associated freestanding outpatient surgery center.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years
in a supervisory/management capacity in a for-profit health company, preferably a physician office.
A bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is likewise required.
Must be knowledgeable in reimbursement and insurance contract negotiation and be current in the regulatory aspects of financial compliance for healthcare. Supportive environment with forward-thinking physician owners and administrator.
Long track record of success.
