THE ROLE:

A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled funds lawyer to join this leading international City practice as their business expands and continues to grow organically. This fantastic team of Funds Lawyers currently provides advice to fund managers establishing closed ended private equity style funds with a focus on key sectors including real estate, energy, infrastructure, debt and buy-out funds. The role will see you acting for start-up managers as well as some of the firm's key institutional clients, joining a team of Partners and Lawyers with in-depth experience in all aspects of fund raising including funds established in the Channel Islands, Luxembourg and the Cayman Islands.

THE CANDIDATE:

As an ideal candidate you will have a minimum of 7+ years PQE experience of advising on various matters relating to establishing and investing in investment funds. You will enjoy business development, happy to work on creating marketing material, know how and being involved in business development as this is a growing team it is essential that you will play an active part in developing future business. You will have a great deal of knowledge in drafting constitutional and ancillary documentation such as partnership, shareholder, managements and administration agreements, dealing with off shore law firms, discussing new funds with both start-up and experienced managers and demonstrate being capable of providing a high level of advice on UK financial regulation as it relates to investment funds.
