Finance Business Partner

We are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to work for a top insurance business in Yorkshire. You will be working on a large finance transformation providing Finance Business Partnering services to senior stakeholders in the business.

Finance Business Partner responsibilities;

• Use financial analysis to facilitate change by working closely with, or providing a service to, a number of different departments/Senior Stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business unit leader, influencing and assisting senior leader to make key decisions. Act as key stakeholder and challenger on operational leadership decisions
• Balance business partnering requirements with appropriate financial governance, whilst supporting a complex, and rapidly changing business
• Accountable for the annual Business Plan for the assigned unit, and quarterly reforecasts.
• Develop and lead delivery of high quality presentations in relation to budgets, Monthly Business Reviews and QBRs, driving quality of insightful commentary, and commercial challenge

Finance Business Partnering Key Skills and experience.

• Qualified Accountant - Aca, Acca, Acma, Cima
• Ability to apply existing transferable skills to ad hoc responsibilities as required.
• High level of business and technical knowledge in operating as the finance business partner for a medium or large business unit
• Adaptability, ability to embrace and respond positively to change
• Financial Services Background.
• Analytical and investigative skills, logical reasoning and problem solving skills - individually and collaboratively
• Ability to quickly learn and work with new processes and systems
