This market leading Plc with a global presence is seeking a high calibre, qualified accountant to join their team at their Cambridge headquarters. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a very broad, high profile role and will play a key role in managing all external and internal reports as well as ensuring that all necessary financial controls and procedures are in place.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing the financial reporting capabilities of the group including the consolidation of UK and overseas operations along with the preparation of monthly management accounts. Other key accountabilities will include:
- Monthly analysis of key operational data, working with business partners to provide clear insight and financial leadership that will contribute to the financial discipline of the business including the preparation of the CFO report for the Board.
- Management of the core finance team.
- Work closely with the wider finance and operations team to build and enhance financial and ERP systems, processes and reporting.
- Prepare technical memos and papers for the audit committee using IFRS
You will be a qualified accountant with previous experience of preparing consolidations, budgets and implementing strong financial controls within an international business. A track record in developing high performing teams would be a distinct advantage.
