Research Director
Not a normal Research Director role. In fact not a normal research agency.
What you need to be:
- A senior researcher with 8 + years experience with at least half of that inan agency. You won't be out of place, the vast majority of the team are at a similar level.
- A quantie. And a really good one.
- Not just a researcher. It's very important for the directors that their staff are happy and that means people who enjoy their life outside of work just as much as inside so they don't want workaholics. That means they can offer very flexible working; in the office 1-2 days a week is fine. They also offer 30 days holiday plus bank holidays plus the days between Xmas.
- A strategic thinker. Every advert asks for one and many pretend to be one but can you provide superb examples of adding value to insight and genuinely inspiring senior stakeholders at blue chip companies.
- Hands on. The reason that the company do so well is that a senior eye looks over everything and that includes moderating some groups. That does not mean you will be worked into the ground. The opposite in fact but more about that later.
- A relationship builder. The office has a fantastic culture and this is due to people pushing in the right direction and enjoying their role. This rubs off on clients hence their clients returning time after time.
- Not just a researcher (II). As well as your day job you will also have a secondary role, matched to your skillset, that will need your strategic input for the growth of the company. This could be innovation, it could be how do we tell our clients better stories, it could be creating better visuals etc etc.
If you are a great quantie, fit the spec above and can be in Yorkshire one day a week please submit your details in the usual fashion.
