Prestigious Enterprise Company is currently seeking a Senior Manager of IT Security Engineering and Operations. Candidate is responsible for ensuring that all Information Security systems and proprietary information are secure. This position is responsible for managing all information security engineering and operations including Cyber Security, network security and Firewall, SIEM, IDS/IPS, access control, end-point security, Cloud Security, and software and hardware systems.
Responsibilities:
Manages a staff of Information Security professionals, hires and trains new staff, conducts performance reviews and provides leadership and coaching.
Analyzes log files, investigates and reports on noted irregularities and advises management on appropriate software solutions to secure facilities and data.
Manages and conducts incident response as required from review of security systems such as the Firewall, intrusion detection systems and other alert based functions.
Participates in disaster recovery planning activities.
Participates in hardware and software architecture review and is responsible for security architecture design.
Ensures team compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley audits; gathers information for audits and provides to internal and external auditors.
Assists the Legal and Compliance departments with e-discovery requests; gathers all requested data in a timely manner.
Identifies new methods to improve the protection of the brand by increasing knowledge and analysing current systems, processes and procedures.
Stays active within the network security community, attends conferences and seminars and stays current with new issues and technology.
Serves as project manager in handling various assignments
Communicates frequently with Leadership regarding project status updates and reports any network security issues.
Escalates issues and coordinates overall security issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Master's degree in Information Security preferred.
CISSP preferred.
5+ years Managing over Information Security Team in a large corporate environment, and at least 10 years of Information Security experience; must have corporate-wide experience, and information security policy development and vulnerability assessments.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have good project management skills with the ability to successfully complete projects on-time and within budget.
