Regulatory Solicitor - Strong Progression Opportunities

A renowned top tier full service national commercial practice is keen to appoint an experienced Regulatory Solicitor to its Regulatory Team and be based at the firms' flagship office in Birmingham city centre.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a firm that is immensely proud of having a transparent and collaborative culture throughout the entire organisation. The firm is very much a meritocracy and does not operate a traditional pyramid structure. Any attitudes of self-importance are most certainly frowned upon which is no doubt why the firm is the recipient of a number of awards including being ranked as one of the best law firms to work for.

As a consequence of growth due to a combination of increased instructions and new client wins, the Regulatory Team is keen to appoint a Regulatory Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE to deal with a broad remit of work. You will ideally have experience of undertaking advocacy in the Magistrates Court dealing with either criminal or licensing matters although the firm is still keen to hear from those from a wider regulatory background from anything covering white collar crime, health & safety, food standards, environmental or trading standards experience.

Depending on your experience, you will join the team at Associate or Senior Associate level and this is not just a fee earning role as you will be afforded the opportunity to undertake business development, marketing and networking to open new revenue streams and also grow the firms' standing in the market.

The firm is offering a very competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package which includes 25 days' holiday with the option to buy more days, private health care, life assurance and an abundance of corporate discounts. There will also be opportunities for progression, exposure to top quality technically challenging matters and there will also be chances to get involved in client seminars and business development and there is a significant amount of face to face client time which often comprises off site visits.

This is an outstanding opportunity for those who are looking for a role with a national practice that is continuing its strategic expansion and which can provide an environment that is truly collaborative and is a world away from both a politicised and a polarised place of work.
