Frazer John Recruitment, Finance Division are representing a leading multi-billion retail business within Manchester that are looking to hire a Head of Financial Control and Business Information for one of their most profitable divisions.
This is a newly created position following a restructure and is a critical hire within the division. You will be working with a highly talented senior leadership team, with key relationships with the CEO, Director of Transformation and Ops Director for this particular division.
The successful candidate will need to have a corporate FTSE 250 / PLC background to be a successful fit for this role, and a mixture of Retail and Financial Services would be ideal for this position, you would also need to be technically strong with up to date legislation as you will be the go to person and leader on the technical side of this role.
This division of the group generate circa £330million in sales and above £70million in profit annually, with a noticeable increase in their services over the last year or so, especially on their prepaid products and since a rebuild plan involving the digital team, which has helped drive efficiency across the function.
This role would be suitable for a technically strong, Financial Controller or Finance Director from a PLC / FTSE 250 corporate experienced background who can come in and lead a team of 20, drive efficiencies, influence at board level as well oversee and play a key part within finance on the roll-out of a new system.
The client are paying a very competitive salary for this role at a basic of up to £110,000 a year and up to £160,000 package value including softer benefits.
