Legal 200 firm in the centre of Manchester requires a Senior Real Estate Lawyer.
Our client is a highly regarded, commercial practice with a team of expert lawyers in offices around the country. The services they provide have been rated within the Legal 500 and range from Banking and Finance to Private Client and Wealth Management. They pride themselves in always keeping the client informed and communicating in plain English whilst treating each client as an individual.
The Role
We are now seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Lawyer to join our clients’ leading practice in Manchester. Joining a growing, specialist team, the successful Lawyer will manage a diverse and challenging caseload, acting for a range of clients including household names. The caseload will incorporate: landlord and tenant matters; acquisitions and disposals; portfolio management; development projects; property finance and; property-related insolvency. Playing a key role in the growth and development of the department, the ideal Lawyer will contribute to marketing strategies, attending networking events as appropriate.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 5 years’ PQE gained within a well-regarded Commercial Property department.
You must have excellent technical skills with a broad range of expertise.
You will have excellent academics with at least a 2:1 at degree level (or equivalent).
You will be a team player with first class client care and communication skills across all levels.
Prior experience in business development would be highly advantageous.
You will be flexible, driven and display a high level of commercial awareness.
