Locum residential conveyancing solicitor

Michael Page is recruiting for a locum residential conveyancing solicitor to assist an expanding high street form with offices in Leicester, Redditch and Bromsgrove.

We are looking for an experienced residential property solicitor to assist the Leicester office as there has been a surge in demand in this area off the back of the family law work the firm has undertaken.

This role could be considered on a full time or part time basis and would be to start ideally asap.

The hourly rate for this role is subject to experience paying £25 - £35+ per hour.

Description

This role requires q qualified residential conveyancing solicitor to work autonomously and cover a full residential property caseload consisting of:

• Sales
• Purchases
• Remortgage
• Transfer of equity
• Commercial leases
• Assignment of leases
• Legal charges
• Declaration of trust
• Right to buy transactions
• Purchasing a new home from a development company

Profile

Candidates wishing to apply for this position must have the following criteria:

• A qualified solicitor with an in date practising certificate
• Have previous experience working within the private practice market
• Have extensive and proven background specialising in residential conveyancing
• previously worked in the capacity of Locum residential conveyancing solicitor
• Be a team player and strong communicator
• Have excellent client facing skills and a focus on customer service
