The role of Finance Director is absolutely pivotal to the continued long term success of Contract Services Group. The role will be based in the Port Talbot Head Office with optional use of their Caerphilly office.

Detailed Job Description
As the Finance Director you will provide key leadership to the Board's Finance and Accounting strategy, to optimise the company's financial performance and strategic position.
- Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate. Driving performance and leading your team through reporting periods including month end, year end and annual budgeting
- Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties including customers; advisors and supply chain. You will be responsible for all corporate finance including - debt, taxation, equity, disposals and acquisitions, as appropriate
- Modelling and forecasting the company's strategic plans and communicating with other Directors the possible outcomes. Formulating plans and risk analysis accordingly to help the company in its growth
- As well as leading the Finance Team you will have overall responsibility for the both IT and HR functions within the business - with a future HR manager reporting in to this role. You will work very closely and collaboratively with all Directors in cost modelling for company bids; tenders and all other work.
- Work closely with the Commercial Teams on developing and championing IT within the company and ensuring that there is a continual improvement via IT in all processes and procedures across the organisation.
Take overall responsibility for the company cash management policies - including forecasting weekly; annually and medium to long term. Interpreting the outcomes of
- the forecasting into sound financial processes and procedures and strategy accordingly.
- You will be the lead person and main contact in future dealings with: Bank and Lending Institutions; Auditors; Other Lenders and Funders and all financial aspects of work with clients.
Candidate's Profile
The successful candidate will possess a successful track record as a Finance Director, or Head of Finance within a growing SME environment. In addition:
- Led small finance teams with the ability to work hands-on
- Capable of devising and reviewing company strategy while providing Board level expertise.
- Possess strong financial modelling skills
- Experience of managing external relationships with Suppliers, Customers, Banks, and Auditors
- Change management experience within a continuous improvement environment
- Process improvement, Budgeting, and Forecasting experience with strong Cash Management
- Team player with excellent communication and leadership skills
- High quality verbal and written presentation skills
