Finance Manager, €55,000 - €75,000 plus benefits (ACA, CIMA /  ACCA qualified or European equivalent)

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for the newly created position of Finance Manager within this growing retail business who are based close to Frankfurt, Germany

Working closely with the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will provide effective commercial and financial support to the business. Responsibilities will include:

• Financial planning including budgeting and rolling forecasts
• Identify and investigate key variances in volumes and profitability
• Month end activities and financial reporting
• Provision of accurate financial analysis to help improve business performance
• Recommendations to further enhance revenues, operating margin and cost controls
• Seek to identify and implement improvements in the commercial accounting process

Applicants for the Finance Manager role should have the following:

• ideally a recognised accountancy qualification ( ACA, CIMA or ACCA) or European equivalent
• Conversational German 
• 4-8 years experience of Commercial Finance / FP&A - specifically business partnering, budgeting & forecasting. 
• excellent technical skills with experience of financial and management accounting
• strong analytical skills with high level of attention to detail
• ability to interpret data and to convert into insightful, meaningful management information
• a demonstrable track record of career progression
• excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and implement change
• advanced excel skills
