An exciting Company Secretary role has arisen within a leading Professional Services firm in Berkshire, established over 100 years ago, they continue to grow from strength to strength. With offices located in London and across the South East, they now seek a Company Secretary to manage a develop the company secretarial function legal and corporate governance requirements are met.

Your new role

Developing and leading the Company Secretarial Services function, you will provide Company Secretarial assistance to the firm and a wide range of their clients including; management companies, private and public companies, and charities. You will assist a large portfolio of the firm's clients, running their Company Secretarial function. Preparing meeting documentation, assisting the Chairman with management and statutory queries, including review of articles of association. During corporate transactions, you will assist with due diligence exercises. You will also provide ad hoc advice on company law relevant to client's business (to include PSC register legislation). Other duties required include reporting to Companies House, manage statutory reporting and draft constitutional documents for Charity registration.

Proven experience in a Company Secretary role

Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Ability to develop and work in a fast paced, intellectually challenging environment
Resilient under pressure with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
