Our client a FTSE 250 business based in Bournemouth is seeking an Assistant Company Secretary for a 12 month fixed term contract with potential to extend.

The role involves:
*Supporting the Board/Committees, communicating directly with the Executive Directorship and Senior management
*Working closely with the Company Secretary in performing the function of maintaining good corporate governance.
*Contributing to Group function projects.

The successful candidate will:
*Be able to demonstrate and discuss their ability to establish good rapport and build internal relationships with business clients
*Have the ability to adapt and apply Company Secretarial skills to support wider business and commercial issues
*Be proactive, able to use initiative and be able to work under stress
*Empower and motivate your team, be a good team player and adapt positively to change


ICSA qualification is advantageous but not essential, although you must have company secretarial experience at a similar level.
