Project Manager - Risk Management

Financial Service client is hiring for a Project Manager - Quant and Risk Management to join their team based in the City of London. This is a permanent role and the salary is paying between GBP70K - GBP85K, depending on experience. You will ideally have delivered risk-related (Quantitative) projects in a Front Office environment.

The Project Manager is required to plan projects and lead teams selling and delivering services within the Financial Services sector. Project artifacts will be delivered by the team and the Project Manager will ensure appropriate allocation of tasks, identify risks and issues and actively manage progress, quality, and scope. Through formal reporting, the Project Manager will carefully manage client expectations and update on project status to other stakeholders as well. There will also be an element of pre-sales where you will work with other members of the team to explore potential projects with existing clients.

Skills Required include:

* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* PRINCE 2 Certification
* Good understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
* Team Leading
* Level-headed and have diplomatic problem-solving skills
* Effective prioritisation of tasks and communication
* Solid understanding of the Investment Banking or Insurance sectors
* Proficient in MS Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
* MS Project and JIRA

You will ideally have a track record of successfully managing complex projects within the wholesale financial services sector, particularly Investment Banking. Experienced in dealing with senior stakeholders.
