In House Commercial / Corporate Lawyer

THE COMPANY

A major financial services company.

THE ROLE

A new in house role has arisen within a collegial legal team for a lawyer to handle a mix of commercial, corporate and M&A work.

This role offers the successful candidate the chance to handle both UK and international matters, working independently and as part of a team.

You will be working in a fast paced work environment and able to work under pressure.

While you will be dealing mainly with commercial contracts you will also be required to assist on corporate M&A matters as and when required.

You may additionally work on various one-off projects requiring legal advice.

ABOUT YOU

An England and Wales or Commonwealth qualified lawyer with at least 4pqe and a good academic record.

In house financial services sector experience would be useful but is not essential and the team is happy to consider those from in house or private practice.

The team is very busy and the new lawyer should be able to deal with varying and conflicting demands on their services.

The candidate will quickly build up a strong internal client base and will be involved in high level matters of major importance to the firm.
