Commercial Property Solicitor

A lexcel accredited practice in Hampshire requires the assistance of a locum/interim Commercial Property Lawyer. The role is to start ASAP and will last for an on-going duration until a permanent member of staff is secured.

The commercial property team are presented with a high volume of work, and whilst they are looking to recruit another permanent member of staff for that department, they require a locum to join them immediately to assist with the current caseload.

As a reputable firm within their location, they frequently receive work referrals from banks and accountants as well as local businesses and commercial clients.

Candidates will be expected to have experience in and be able to handle the following:

• Commercial acquisitions and disposals
• Freehold and leasehold commercial properties
• Commercial developments
• New leases and lease extensions
• Option agreements
• Licenses

Previous experience working as a locum is of benefit but is not essential. What is essential is that candidates are able to hit the ground running in picking up an existing caseload and working autonomously without supervision.

Due to the fact the role is to start imminently, candidates should ideally be able to commence the position immediately or within 1 weeks' notice.
