Due to increasing workload an opportunity has arisen for an experienced financial services regulatory lawyer to join the business on an initial 6 month day rate contract focused on its payment services function. This position is based at Canary Wharf paying £600-650/day.
Working as part of a large, global legal team you will be responsible for:
- reviewing the regulatory and legal suitability of new and current products
- implementation of regulatory requirements for consumer products
- assisting on digital payment and banking product rollouts, providing relevant regulatory advice to internal stakeholders
- provide advice on partnership and joint venture arrangements
- general advisory in relation to relevant data privacy implications
To be considered for this role you will be a qualified lawyer, 5 years + PQE as a guide, trained in a reputable firm preferably with in-house experience in the banking and/or payments sector focused on regulatory matters. You will be able to work effectively in complex, global organisations taking an active role within multi-functional project teams.
