Description
Construction Lawyer
The firm has a reputation in acting for a range of clients, including employers, funders, project companies, contractors, consultants and insurers. Their transactional Construction team advises across many industry sectors, but predomianntly real estate development and infrastructure.
The role provides an opportunity to work on some of the best construction and engineering contract in the UK, with a firm emphasis on developing and furthering career prospects and technical skills.
You are likely to be involved in:
Preparation and negotiation of construction documentation, including consultants' appointments, building contracts (based on standard forms), letters of intent, collateral warranties, third party rights notices, parent company guarantees and performance bonds.
Assisting in relation to the construction aspects of real estate transactions (commercial and high value residential), property finance and corporate transactions, including due diligence and the preparation of due diligence reports, raising and replying to enquiries.
Assisting with the management of key client accounts.
Managing and building client relationships, and acting as a point of contact.
Acting as a point of contact on projects.
Profile
Construction Lawyer
The successful candidate will have excellent academics
Trained at a leading City or national firm
Solid grounding in transactional construction law is essential
Range of bespoke contract experience ideal
PQE range of 2+

Job Offer
£70,000 - £85,000 depending on experience + benefits + bonus
