Legal Counsel

A FTSE 250 construction firm is looking for a Legal Counsel to join their expanding team in London.

This business works to deliver unique projects in difficult conditions; this involves developing, maintaining and looking after the communal areas that civilisation needs to function.

The Legal Department itself works across HR, IT, Procurement, Finance, Health and Safety and Environmental teams.

The business are looking for someone who is capable of carrying out contract reviews in accordance with UK policies and procedures and providing commercial and pragmatic advice in a timely and appropriate manner.

In addition to that you will also be involved in providing legal support in relation to all forms of dispute management and resolution whilst also being capable of reviewing the wording of bonds, guarantees and warranties in accordance with UK and Group policies .

You will be a commercial lawyer with PQE of strong experience (gained in house or private practice) with an interest in specialising in construction or already in possession of knowledge or experience of the construction/infrastructure industry. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with senior executives in the construction/infrastructure industry.
