This well-liked and highly professional national firm has an enviable reputation for projects and procurement work, and is looking to recruit a further lawyer to join the team in Leeds.

The team works nationally on a broad range of big ticket project work across a truly broad range of sectors including central government (recently appointed to Tier one of the CCS panel), transport, regeneration, waste, leisure, IT, education, health, local government, universities, construction and major development projects. The types of projects they get involved in include development of procurement strategies, major outsourcing initiatives, joint ventures and regeneration projects in the public and utility sectors.

They are inviting applications from projects and procurement lawyers with upwards of 2 years' PQE. Procurement experience is essential for this role. They are not looking for a general commercial solicitor. Whilst central government advisory experience would be particularly welcome, it is by no means essential as the team has a broad remit and they are committed to ongoing training & development.

The team are a friendly and approachable bunch, who work well together and are very supportive, but with an uncompromising passion for outstanding client service and a clear ambition for further growth.

The Leeds office is a particularly friendly and warm office, having been built up from scratch in the last 4 or 5 years. They've made sure that they only recruit like-minded collaborative lawyers and it shows in the atmosphere in the office, which is warm and relaxed. They also have one of the most transparent and achievable bonus structures in town and a very well regarded lawyer development programme.

The team in Leeds is still quite small compared to other offices, so there are great opportunities for progression here too.
