IT Programme Manager - Retail IT

My client is looking for an experienced IT Programme Manager / Business Partner to join a world leading organisation to be the 'head of profession' and chief adviser to the Head of Portfolio on all aspects of leading, developing and implementing the IT & Change strategy globally.

Experience and personal qualities:

You must be a seasoned IT Project / Programme Manager / Business Partner from an IT background with experience of managing multiple assignments and prospective projects concurrently. You will have worked in a wide variety of business and technical environments and possess the gravitas required to deal with clients at a senior level.

Your experience will have introduced you to a wide range of industry sectors and you will have gained significant experience of a range of business processes, both operational and back-office.

You will be politically and culturally aware and have the necessary communication and relationship building skills to deal with clients and teams at all levels.

Key Accountabilities:

Corporate - Work as part of multi-disciplinary project teams to enable the breaking down of functional and regional barriers and encourage the concept of global delivery.

Functional - Take overall responsibility for IT service delivery across the functions in region.

Communication - Responsible for pro-active and regular communication with other areas of IT and the business in relation to the global business areas that the role supports.

Team Management - Provide leadership and mentoring.
