OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

A Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor is highly sought after to join this well regarded practice in Devon and further enhance their commercial litigation offerings within the Devon market. This position would suit a specialist Commercial Litigator who has the flair and desire to take on additional responsibility as a Head of Commercial Litigation. As the appointed Head of Commercial Litigation you will be expected to deal with your own fee earning caseload as well as play an integral role in enhancing the profile of the team within the local area. Managing a small team, you will be covering the full remit of commercial litigation and have proven expertise in dealing with private individuals, SMEs and corporates on matters involving construction, property, debt recovery and other commercial disputes.

THE CANDIDATE:

Suitable Commercial Litigators will have a minimum of 7 years PQE and a proven track network of contacts that are able to instruct you future matters. With a strong commercial awareness, you will possess the desire to build and develop the practice and undertake a key role in business development and networking. You will be an astute commercial litigation expert whose experience has included advising a diverse client base on all types of commercial litigation matters. Determined and passionate you will be a keen business developer who will be looking to progress their career and will have built a portfolio of long established clients who will be only too happy to instruct you on future matters. Your reputation in the market will be second to none and you will be in a positon where you are a known name. The appointed Commercial Litigation Solicitor will be expected to handle their own caseload of commercial litigation transactions and have proven managerial and supervisory skills.
