Head of Compliance and Conduct Assurance

Our client currently recruiting for a Head of Compliance and Conduct Assurance to work for a well-known retail bank based in the North West.

Your role will be to define, develop and deliver a robust and effective assurance function for the bank, delivering targeted independent oversight, monitoring and testing of compliance policies.

The key account abilities will include:

* Building, developing and maintaining a fit for purpose Compliance and Conduct assurance testing function.
* Lead the function and develop departmental strategy.
* Accountable for monitoring and assessing compliance with internal policies and external regulations to which the bank is subject.
* Work closely with the Compliance Advisory team to co-ordinate the approach in delivering risk management assurance and reporting.

It is essential that you have experience working in a retail banking environment and have a proven track record making strategic decisions within a large financial services organisation.

You must have excellent communication skills and will have previous experience working with the regulators at a senior level.

In return, our client is offering a salary upwards of GBP100,000 (dependant on experience) and a very competitive benefits package.
