Job Title -Finance Director
Location - Leeds
Salary-£70,000 - £80,000

Looking to work autonomously, within a business that encourages new ideas and rewards forward thinking? Our progressive client based in the Leeds are looking for their new Number 1 of finance, which offers exposure to controls, audit, finance business partnering.

You will be charged with delivering the businesses 3/5 year growth plan and working in strategic partnership with the Managing Director and mother company based in Europe.

-Under strict time constraints, lead the team to deliver the 3-day month end.
-Management, coaching and development of the team - leading by example
-Preparation of annual financial budgets, including headcount budgets and monthly re forecasting.
-Leading the UK audit and the coordination of group reporting, financial statements and consolidations.
-Managing working capital; Working with the credit control team to improve debt collection, processes, query resolution and expediting payments and final accounts to drive down DSO.
-Supporting the Chairman in developing the International financial strategy
-Other financial and KPI business reporting as required
-Providing financial and strategic support to the channel directors and operating as a member of the senior management team to influence strategy
-Financial control and compliance, including cost management, to create a robust, efficient and effective financial environment
-Providing financial guidance, support and education to the business

Skills & Experience
·Proven experience in financial control, process improvement and working capital management
·Exceptional IT skills and advanced excel skills/ reporting (plus other MS applications)
·Excellent technical and audit skills, including consolidations, FRS 102 and UK GAAP
·Trained in meeting challenging deadlines
·Strong communication skills
·Work experience in an international environment
·Commercial acumen and exposure to contract reviews and legal agreements
·Experience in the retail and construction industry is an advantage
·Familiarity with Epicor ERP
·German speaking
·SQL experience
