Financial Accountant

My client is a dynamic industrial developer who have recently been involved in a number of large projects with a combined value of over £2 billion. The business is financially backed through a fund advised by a specialist real estate investment and development company. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking for a qualified accountant to join the team and will report directly to the FD.

The successful candidate will have strong statutory reporting, consolidation and management accounting skills gained within a property development environment. You will be involved in the preparation of the consolidated financial accounts for the UK companies in the Group structure as well as for BVI companies, management accounts preparation and liaising with auditors and tax compliance advisors. You will also be involved in some ad hoc project work as required as well as counterparty credit checks and risk matrix preparation

To be shortlisted for the role you will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, preferably with audit experience. You should have at least two years' real estate experience gained within a developer and strong excel skills (including advanced macros in VBA). Additionally, knowledge of Exchequer accounting package and Argus Property Software would be advantageous.
