Group Head of Finance

Our client is a leading independent global body representing the Procurement and Supply profession. Reporting to the COO the key responsibilities for this role will include -

• Establish and embed new global management accounting structure including dashboards
• Continually review, improve and maintain existing finance processes to ensure they reflect best practice
• Design, implement and maintain Global forecasting tool for profit
• Lead and control the annual business planning and budgeting process
• Responsible for the financial management of subsidiary offices ensuring transparency of reporting of appropriate fiscal management.
• Responsible and accountable for the timely management of the annual audit and Financial accounts through to appropriate Governance sign-off and regulatory compliance
• Manage and direct the fiscal matters of all subsidiary offices, consolidated into a Group-wide financial view.  Ensure appropriate currency management to maximise returns.
• Responsible and accountable for the management of the Group financial reserves
• Responsible and accountable for UK operational financial management ensuring compliance with best practice while managing cash flow and debtor days appropriately.
• Efficient and timely management of reserves, making appropriate policy decisions on investment portfolios in line with Institute strategy and policies.
• Effective management of currencies across the Group to ensure effective utilisation of earnings and reserves

You will be a Qualified Accountant with an outstanding academic track record. You will have a track record of managing successful finance teams and have the ability to be hands-on but also strategic. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to present at senior level.
