Commercial Finance Manager

Our client is a global consumer goods business, with an enviable reputation for their products and brand. They are consistently listed in CoreBrand's “100 Most Powerful Brands” and they are consistently gaining market share from rivals.

This is a highly commercial position where you will play a key role in decisions made by the international business and take full ownership for pricing for all regions outside the USA.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the Commercial Teams have all the tools and information necessary to make strategy decisions
• Take charge of budgeting, forecasting,  for the region for key business lines
• Take full ownership of annual pricing strategy across all regions (excluding USA)
• Revenue, expense and margin analysis
• Building relationships across multiple business areas
• Providing month end, quarterly and annual commentary on commercial performance
• Training and development of new Analysts in the business
• Ad hoc reporting / analysis as and when required

Skills/Experience required:

• Ideally a qualified  accountant ACA /ACCA / CIMA (or overseas equivalent)
• Commercial finance experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of the business
• Act as a lead in the finance department, promoted best practice and continually improving ways of working
• The ability to communicate complex financial issues / information to non-finance colleagues
• Previous budgeting, forecasting and analytical experience
• Advanced Excel and modelling skills
