Market-leading Scottish law firm is looking to hire an Tax Manager or Solicitor to join their highly rated team based in Glasgow. The department provides pragmatic tax advice to clients as well as monitoring national and international changes to tax law in order to assist clients in positioning their affairs for the future.

Role Profile:

• This is an exciting opportunity to join our top rated Tax team. Our multi-discipline team deals with the negotiation of tax aspects of corporate and commercial contracts and tax planning for deals and corporate structures, as well as contentious tax work.  The department provides proactive tax advice to clients at the point where they are considering embarking on a deal and has particular expertise in the structuring of deals.
• The department provides pragmatic tax advice to clients as well as monitoring national and international changes to tax law in order to assist clients in positioning their affairs for the future.

Candidate Requirements:

• This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACA/CTA, CA or Solicitor with Corporate & Business tax experience who is looking to develop their career within a first class Tax team.  The role will be based in Glasgow (or Edinburgh if more convenient) and the successful candidate will be working within a specialist team on a demanding, varied and interesting workload.
• The ideal candidate will have developed good technical legal/tax ability, having strong numeracy skills, client focus and be able to work in an organised manner ensuring deadlines are met whilst high quality of work is produced.  They will also be required to demonstrate the drive and enthusiasm necessary to ensure that we continue to deliver first class advice to our clients.
