Assistant Company Secretary sought to effectively support important regulated trading entity within the group

Your new company
A well known insurance broker in the City is looking for a new Assistant Company Secretary ideally for an immediate start with their firm. The company operates through three main trading segments and this job will support one of the operating company boards and have a Company Secretarial Assistant reporting into them.

Your new role
You will be acting as Secretary to the trading board of one of the companies as well as its Audit & Risk Committee as well as several FCA regulated subsidiaries. The role will also support the Group Company Secretary with various group projects including group governance, trademarks as well as director training.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you need to be ACIS qualified and have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant company secretarial experience, including managing subsidiary companies and strong minute writing. You will ideally come from the insurance sector but other financial services experience is also very valuable. A good understanding of FCA regulation is key. Finally you will need a strong can do attitude and be robust and able to deal with an ever changing environment, be quick to find your feet and wrong well independently.
