Banking and Finance Litigation Lawyer

THE ROLE

This is for a litigation solicitor to join the firm's Finance & Banking Disputes Group.

It is one of the leading banking litigation groups in London when it comes to dealing with large finance disputes, in particular in the private equity, hedge funds and asset manager space.

The contentious regulatory team is extremely well regarded by the Directories and has for many years been involved (and continues to be involved) in some of the biggest and highest profile regulatory investigations and actions around.

It is best known in its work representing individuals, but increasingly also acts for corporates.

The role will mainly involve supporting the Regulatory Partner and other fee earners on contentious matters within the Finance & Banking Group, with a heavy onus on FCA/PRA matters, but also on other professional discipline matters

ABOUT YOU

Qualified as a Solicitor in the UK and ideally at the NQ-3pqe level, you will have trained and qualified with a reputable private practice law firm. Previous experience of working on FCA/PRA matters is preferred.

Committed to building a career with a focus on regulatory disputes, you will have excellent written and interpersonal skills in order to meet the drafting and presentation aspects of the role.

You will be client focused with an ability to command the trust and confidence of the firm's clients who expect a first class service and be interested in undertaking business development activities both internally and externally.
