Our client is a dynamic and innovative business who are looking for an In House junior Counsel, who will assist with all commercial legal matters, as well as acting as the company's Contracts Officer. This responsibility will involve the drafting of all contracts, such as quality and commercial contracts as well as public procurement frameworks.
The ideal candidate with need to have experience of contract law and standard terms as the role will involve drafting, evaluation, negotiation and execution of all contracts. The new hire would serve as the main point of contact within the organisation on contractual matters and provide recommendations on all contracts and negotiate directly when necessary until consensus is achieved.
In terms of qualifications, the candidate will be a Barrister or Solicitor and should have previous experience of effective performance management of contracts in a complex environment.
The role is based in Watford and the salary level on offer is £55,000 to £60,000 per annum.
