THE COMPANY
Our client, a well-known global investment bank is seeking a 2-6 PQE Derivatives Lawyer to join their team.
THE ROLE
This In house Counsel / Lawyer role sits in the derivatives transaction management team and you will be reporting directly to the Head of Derivatives Legal. You will get the opportunity to assist the front office/ legal transaction management groups.
- Running and user acceptance testing for securities / derivatives automation.
- Drafting, review and negotiation of derivatives and securities term sheets, in addition to final terms/confirmation templates.
- Advising on current and upcoming regulations (e.g. MiFID II, EMIR etc.) to ensure the transactions are fully compliant
CANDIDATE
- The ideal candidate will have 2 year+ securities / derivatives automation lawyer within a Financial Services organisation or private practice firm
- Good working knowledge of the legal and IT issues concerning securities / derivatives automation
