We are currently assisting a market leading private client team with the recruitment of a new Head of Private client for their team in Preston. This role will suit an experienced private client solicitor who is seeking to join a private client team doing excellent quality work.

They are a full service commercial law firm with a hardworking team that provides the very best client service, offering an excellent service to a full spectrum of clients including high net worth individuals. As a private client solicitor within the team you can expect to undertake a broad range of work in a supportive environment. The firm has developed a culture and an ethos which puts their staff at the centre of the focus meaning they attract the best candidates who they help to develop and grow alongside the firm.

Applications are sought from solicitors who have a specialism in private client work, who are prepared to work autonomously and are looking to step into a leadership role. The successful candidate's experience should include strong exposure to wills, probate and powers of attorney and will ideally include experience of trusts and tax planning for high net worth individuals. Candidates who have strong communication skills and a keen interest in joining a hard working team, should think about applying.

Alongside fee earning responsibilities you will be the focal point for growing the Private Client Department. You will need to motivate and inspire others as well as helping to maintain performance, by setting and conducting personal development meetings. You will of course need to partake in business development and marketing activities in the local market.
