Currently undergoing a period of expansion, they are now seeking three experienced Planning Solicitors to join their highly recommended firm.
THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Principal and Senior Planning Solicitor to join our clients’ well-regarded firm in Leicestershire, and a dynamic consultant Planning Solicitor to join their Warwickshire office. Becoming part of a progressive practice, the successful Planning Solicitor will manage a demanding caseload incorporating contentious and non-contentious planning matters for developers, including drafting representations, negotiating s106 agreements and securing planning permissions for developments throughout the region and beyond. You will also participate in business development activities for the department and firm as a whole. THE CANDIDATE
You will:-
Be a qualified Solicitor with 1 - 7 years’ PQE;
Have solid experience and understanding of Planning Law and processes ;
Have experience working within local government, consultancy or development industry;
Possess membership of RTPI or be working towards membership;
Be personable with strong negotiation, drafting and advocacy skills;
Be driven with a commercially-focused outlook, with excellent technical skills.
