Head of Financial Reporting

This leading multinational insurance business are looking to hire a Head of Financial Reporting to join their dynamic and growing finance division. A broad role with frequent and direct exposure to very senior stakeholders across the Group, this position will act as an excellent stepping stone to your wider career.

Primarily responsible for leading all aspects of financial accounting for statutory and regulatory purposes, key accountabilities will include:

* Reporting IFRS results and disclosures
* Solvency II, PRA and other regulatory returns
* Manage and maintain relationships with key customers on reporting and regulatory issues, and presenting results in a timely and effective manner
* Leading relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure operations and financial reporting processes are integrated seamlessly
* Leading reporting teams through internal change management projects
* Leading reporting teams through all production activity planning phases
* Directly managing 4-5 qualified accountants

Key requirements:

* Qualified accountant with some post qualification experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Good working knowledge of PRA, FCA and other regulatory reporting
* Detailed knowledge of current IFRS reporting requirements
* Proven working experience within a change management environment
* Strong insurance or financial services experience essential (preferably life insurance)
