Robertson Bell Finance are proud to be working alongside a large commercially operated pension fund management organisation, who due to recent internal restructures have an urgent need for an established Pension Fund Accountant.
Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, responsibilities include;
-Lead on pension fund accounting, performance measurement and reporting matters
-Support middle office/ investment operations for in-house managed assets and new investment structures
-Review and propose the structure of the accounts and carry out the final accounts audit until completion
-Reviewing and enhancing Pension Fund policies
-Manage and develop relationship with custodians and depositaries
-Manage year end fund financial reporting and liaising with both internal and external auditors
-Monthly monitoring of investment valuations and performance provide appropriate analysis and insight
-Maintain models for investment fee agreements and monitor effectively, challenging where appropriate
-Producing investment financial reports and statements at year end and liaising as the point of contact on the pension fund accounts with both internal and external auditors when required
The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with extensive Pension Fund Accounting Experience, coupled with highly developed analytical and reporting and skills, as well as effective communication skills including the ability to influence and build good working relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
