PE backed Group Chief Financial Officer

Our client is a private equity backed business that has gone through significant growth in recent years. The current executive team, and the highly regarded private equity house supporting them, have ambitious plans for further growth and an eventual exit. They are looking for a dedicated Chief Financial Officer with private equity experience to join the company through and beyond the exit. Candidates who can demonstrate exceptional performance as divisional Finance Director or Financial Controller (with full P&L and balance sheet responsibility) in a private equity backed business will also be considered.

Applicants for this exciting role must have a record of successful growth at a private equity-backed company of significant scale. Private equity exit experience is highly valued. In this role you will be required to ensure acquisitions are integrated smoothly and the company's reporting is accurate, so a mastery of the finance function is essential. You will be closely involved in constructive debate and discussion with the board and private equity backers, so you must be prepared and able to hold your own under scrutiny.

You will be responsible for ensuring the finance function is geared to support of long term objectives - this will include the careful management of balance sheets, cashflow, and capex spending. Experience in a fast moving, highly leveraged environment is a requisite for this position. An accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) is strongly preferred.
