Head of Family Department, Shropshire - Offering a full range of legal services, this progressive practice has a rare opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to take charge of the busy family department.

JOB TITLE: Head of Family

PQE REQUIRED: 6+

LOCATION: Shropshire (Commutable from: Shrewsbury, Telford, Newport, Market Drayton, Wolverhampton, Wales)

SALARY: £Dependant on experience

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor to head up the flourishing family department. Covering the full remit of both public and privately funded family matters, the appointed Family Solicitor will be expected to assist in helping the firm achieve their goals and aims to enhance the family department further. Handling a variety of family cases, the successful Family Solicitor will be responsible for advising on divorce, ancillary relief, injunctions, civil partnerships, cohabitation disputes and Children Act Work. This position offers you the chance to further develop the team.

THE SUCCESSFUL FAMILY SOLICITOR:

Applications are sought from well rounded Family Solicitors who possess a strong track record in advising on the full spectrum of family including both privately and publicly funded family law matters. Ideal Family Solicitors will have a minimum of 6 years experience in dealing with their own caseload of family matters as well as a proven background in supervising and mentoring a team of fee earners. Handling a quality caseload, the appointed Senior Family Solicitor will have excellent business development experience along with networking skills to develop the existing caseload. Children Law Panel Membership would be advantageous.
