In-House Capital Markets Lawyer, Qatar (5 yrs+)

My client is a global Investment Fund in search of a mid-level Capital Markets lawyer (UK or NY qualified) to support their M&A team with equity and credit derivative products.

The Role
You will focus on a broad range of derivative products and focus on various financing transactions as well as use of derivatives in M&A deals where you have experience in Derivatives (ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, MCAs, confirmation process management, interaction with operations and settlements. You will have a strong focus in Capital Markets expertise to oversee terms and conditions for investment grade bonds, high-yield corporate bonds and bank regulatory capital (e.g. CoCo, T1), IPOs and secondary equities issues. For this role candidates must have a strong grasp of due diligence procedures and prospectus analysis. You will oversee primary and secondary market loan and security documentation and focus on regulatory issues affecting financial services and systemic risk, including interaction with regulators and major central banks.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be mid-level with 5+ years' PQE, with an exceptional career history gained in-house from a major institution (G-SIB or equivalent) you will have trained with a global law firm. It's essential that candidates have top class academics (minimum 2.1 Law Degree) from a world renowned law school.

Successful candidates will be entitled to an ex-pat package offering a generous relocation and housing allowance.
